Kadekaru Old Bon Eisa

During the Obon (Old Bon) period, each region holds the Nenbutsu Odori Eisa to send off the spirits of ancestors to the afterlife. Most of the Old Bon Eisa held in various districts of Kumejima take place on the second day of Old Bon, but in the Kadekaru district, Eisa performances and Ryukyu folk music shows are held on the final day.
