Kawamoto Yukimin, a Dutch scholar of the late Edo period, is said to be the first Japanese person to brew beer. In honor of Yukimin's achievements and pioneering spirit, Sanda City conducts the 'Sanda Beer Certification.' This unique certification allows participants to learn about the history of beer and the brewing process while enjoying Sanda's history, culture, climate, and rich cuisine. The application period is from July 1, 2024 (Monday) to October 15, 2024 (Tuesday) by 5 PM. The capacity is 200 participants, and the eligibility is 20 years and older (as of April 1, 2024). Registration is required to take the test.
