Every year in early November, the autumn leaves season arrives at Katsuoji Temple and the surrounding mountains. As you pass through the sanmon gate, you will see the vibrant red, yellow, and purple leaves rising in front of you, creating a picturesque view against the deep green mountains in the background. A special limited-time illumination will take place on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from November 1 to November 30, providing a fantastical atmosphere that differs from the solemn daytime ambiance.
