Onomichi City 20th Anniversary of Merger "Katsuzo Enzo Outdoor Sculpture - Connecting Scenery with Sculpture -"

Introducing the charm of Katsuzo Enzo's works

Katsuzo Enzo Sculpture Museum

9/9(Tue)~12/7(Sun) 09:00~17:00

Katsuzo Enzo has created many outdoor sculptures based on the theme of "Love and Peace," becoming beloved by people. One of his representative works, "Goddess of the Shore," was installed in front of Onomichi Station in 1954 (Showa 29), and after being relocated, it is now located in the port green space in front of the station. This exhibition introduces the charm of the work, cherished as a symbol of the town, through plaster models, design drawings, installation plans, photographs, and more. During the exhibition period, there will be an ensemble concert by the Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra and a pottery experience workshop.
