Sewer Day Commemorative Lecture "Water Situations at the Showa Base in Antarctica! - Living and Research in Antarctica -"

Let's learn about Antarctic "water" and "life"!

Tokyo Rainbow Sewer Museum

9/6(Sat) 13:00~14:00

September 10 is Sewer Day. To commemorate this, the Rainbow Sewer Museum will hold a lecture. The water we use in Japan passes through sewer pipes, is purified at a water reclamation center, and returned to the sea and rivers, but where does the water at the Showa Base in Antarctica, which has neither sewage nor water supply, come from and how is it processed? We will ask an engineer who was actively involved as a member of the observation team about the water situations and life in Antarctica.
