Kamo Shrine Child Dance

One of the country's important intangible folk cultural assets, the Echuu Child Dance
On September 4th at 1:00 PM, four children will perform nine pieces, including the spear dance, forest song, konasori, kaho dance, heavenly dance, butterfly dance, onanasori, hiruko dance, and the accompanying music in the courtyard in front of the hall. Around 12:30 PM, the children will be carried on the shoulders of adults and will walk through the village to showcase their performance. 'It carries the old folk event characteristics that convey the taboo of not stepping on the ground until the dance is finished, and it was designated as an important intangible folk cultural asset by the state for its preciousness as a typical example of child dance that possesses characteristics of both the ancient-style dance music formalized and its local adaptations.'
