[Autumn Foliage - Best Viewing] Akasa River

A spot where you can enjoy the blessings and autumn foliage of the clear stream 'Akasagawa' flowing from the World Heritage Shirakami-Sanchi. As you go upstream along the Akasagawa, there are hatcheries for Ito and ayu, and next to it is the Oojikari River Park. Here, at the foot of the Shikagamine Mountain, you can enjoy a view of autumn foliage that looks like a folding screen right in front of you. *Currently closed due to heavy rain disaster in August 2022.
