The Sandankyo Gorge, a special scenic spot of the country. A popular autumn foliage spot in Western Japan. This long gorge stretches 16km, filled with attractions like the flowing river and waterfalls creating various expressions. The sight of the colorful mountains, along with the colored trees against the rocky cliffs of the gorge, is breathtaking. Enjoy the autumn colors reflected on the water's surface while riding a ferry, and quietly experience the scenery as the waves ripple when the boat crosses. *Please note that there are sections closed due to heavy rainfall.

About 15 minutes from the Chugoku Expressway 'Togouchi' IC.

Take a bus from Hiroshima Bus Center to Sandankyo and get off at the final stop.
