Colorful autumn leaves reflected in the pond of Sawano
Daijiji is a Zen temple founded in 1421 by Wachi Yoshitomo, the lord of Nantenzan Castle, in the 28th year of the Oei era. The colorful autumn leaves reflected in the pond of Hirozawa, which is praised in the poem "The clear moonlight over the sky on an autumn night also extends over Hirozawa pond," create a picturesque contrast with the surrounding trees and buildings. One can relax and enjoy a slow passage of time in this tranquil setting.
