Kitazawa Hachiman Shrine Main Festival

A festival in the youth city of Shimokitazawa. Every year, it shows tremendous bustling activity, especially with approximately 20 floats from 8 areas (Mukukai) crossing Chazawa Street together and entering the shrine one after another, creating a dynamic atmosphere. After entering the shrine, floats are carried in each area until around 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The shrine's stalls run by local residents (not street vendors) are also gaining national attention.
