Osaka-Kansai Expo Special Linked Project "The Flowers of Ukiyo-e - Hansaburo Hara Collection"

This exhibition introduces the collection of ukiyo-e gathered by businessman Hansaburo Hara (1884–1982), who was originally from Tokushima. It features works using indigo that have strong connections to Tokushima, as well as introducing major works by the master Utagawa Hiroshige, including "Sixty-odd Provinces Famous Places Illustrated" and "One Hundred Views of Edo", based on the theme of the Expo as a place where people from Japan and around the world come together.

Access

Head south from the "Tokushima" IC on the Tokushima Expressway, turn right at the Ono intersection on Route 55, and continue on the Tokushima South Ring Road for about 3 km.

Access (Public)

Take the direct bus to "Bunka no Mori" from JR Tokushima Station, departing from bus stop 3, for about 18 minutes. Get off at the final stop "Bunka no Mori".
