Performing Beatles classics with a classical twist
The female quartet '1966 Quartet' expresses Western music with classical techniques, playing numerous famous Beatles songs. With sophisticated arrangements and solid performance skills, they breathe new life into timeless classics that continue to be loved across generations. A valuable pre-talk will also be held by the legendary director Hiroyuki Takashima, who stirred up a 'Beatles whirlwind' nationwide (he is the younger brother of actor Tadao Takashima and the father of violinist Chisako Takashima). On the day, there will also be a special exhibition of Beatles-related goods.
