The 25th Yokohama 'Mansaku & Mansai Festival' at Momijizaka Hall

Mansaku, Mansai, Yuki, three generations of Kyogen presenting three plays
The Yokohama 'Mansaku & Mansai Festival' has been held since 2000. This time, for the 25th anniversary, it will be held at the Kanagawa Prefectural Youth Center, Momijizaka Hall in Sakuragicho. In a rare performance set in Kanto, 'Iruma River' will be performed by Mansai Nomura, while the masterpiece 'Neonkyoku', a Taro Karasumono piece, will be presented with a special direction by Living National Treasure Mansaku Nomura, with a large ensemble piece 'Kubi Hi' performed by Mansai's eldest son, Yuki. There will be an explanation by the performers at the beginning, so beginners can enjoy it with ease. ■ Notes No entry for pre-school children.
