[Cherry Blossom - Best Viewing] Hirakougen Park

Hirakougen Park is a grand panorama park with a view of the Kii Channel to the west, Yoshino Kumano National Park to the south, and the mountain ranges of Kumano Sanzan to the east. Flowers of each season, such as daffodils and canola flowers, bloom in the park, making it a great photo spot. The park has about 2000 cherry trees (Somei Yoshino and others), and in spring, the park is dyed pink. To coincide with the best viewing period, the Hirakougen Park Cherry Blossom Festival is held, and there is also night cherry blossom lighting. There are also food trucks and other vendors available for a limited time (please check in advance on the website).
