Fujisan Shizuoka Symphony Orchestra 130th Regular Concert (Shizuoka Performance)

A gem of a program tracing the evolution of Russian music
Conducted by Ken Takasuke, the chief conductor who has greatly contributed to the improvement of Shizukyo's performance skills and earned immense trust from the orchestra members. Following the splendid Glinka's Spanish Overture, the talented soloist Rina Matsuda passionately plays Glazunov's Violin Concerto. The performance also features the Symphony No. 10, a fitting tribute marking the 50th anniversary of Shostakovich's passing. This concert allows for a rich experience of the dramatic music created by the master craftsmen and Shizukyo, fully enjoying the charms of Russian music. ■Notes Tickets are available at Ticket Pia and Fujisan Shizuoka Symphony Orchestra, among others.
