A lakeside that invites you into a pure blue, dazzling fresh greenery that awakens the senses, breathtakingly beautiful fiery autumn leaves, or majestic mountains shrouded in white mist... The nationally renowned landscape painter, Kaii Higashiyama (1908-1999), traveled throughout Japan, continually depicting the landscapes woven by nature. Furthermore, Higashiyama showed interest in foreign art, studying in Germany, and also captured the landscapes of the world through his eyes. An exhibition of landscape paintings centered around the works of Kaii Higashiyama, which resonate across eras.
