Special Exhibition Tenka Itto - Selection of Masterpieces from Osaka Castle Main Tower -

Since its opening in the 6th year of the Showa era (1931), the Osaka Castle Main Tower has been dedicated to the collection of a variety of cultural properties. In particular, historical materials from the tumultuous period of the 16th century through to the fall of Osaka in the 20th year of Keicho (1615), centering around Toyotomi Hideyoshi's unification of Japan (Tenka Itto), have grown to be one of the best quality and quantity in the country. In this exhibition, we trace the history and culture of this tumultuous time through selected masterpieces from a collection of approximately 10,000 pieces.

Admission Fee: Adults 1,200 yen, University/High School Students 600 yen (ID required), Free for Junior High School Students and below (ID required), Free for residents of Osaka City aged 65 and over (ID required) and holders of disability certificates.

8 AM to 10 PM: Weekdays 400 yen per hour, Weekends and Holidays 500 yen per hour / 10 PM to 8 AM: 200 yen per hour on both weekdays and weekends/holidays
