Friendship Day 2025
A rare opportunity only once a year
Friendship Day is an event held once a year where a part of the U.S. Marine Corps Iwakuni Base is open to the public, featuring military aircraft displays and air shows. On this day only, visitors can enter the base, which is usually off-limits, and enjoy authentic hamburgers and pizzas. There is no dedicated parking within or around the base, so please use public transportation (shuttle buses are planned from the station) or walk or bike to the venue.
