Electric Pottery Wheel Beginner Workshop 2025 (April)
Feel at ease with specialized instructors on site!
A workshop for beginners to experience electric pottery wheels. In one day, participants will learn clay preparation, wheel throwing, and foot trimming under the guidance of specialized instructors. Each participant can create up to 4 pieces using 2kg of clay. The workshop is open to those in 5th grade and above. Only those who can perform from wheel throwing to foot trimming without instruction are allowed to participate in this workshop at Fujino Arts House. Experience is available on weekdays without reservation (excluding Golden Week and summer vacation; in those cases, it costs 3,000 yen). The target audience is those in 5th grade and above.

From the 'Sagamiko' Interchange on the Chuo Expressway, turn left at the 'Hiranuma Entrance' signal onto National Route 20 toward Yamanashi, enter Prefectural Route 76, and continue for about 5 minutes.
About a 5-minute bus ride from JR Chuo Line 'Fujino' Station (to Yamanami Onsen or Okumakino) to 'Fujino Arts House', followed by a 1-minute walk.
