Wakayama University Kishiwada Satellite Open Class "Understanding and Support for School Refusal and Social Withdrawal: Supporting the Individuals"

As the issues of school refusal and social withdrawal become increasingly serious in society, this course explores understanding and support for these challenges. It examines the backgrounds of school refusal and social withdrawal from elementary school students to adults from psychological and educational perspectives, and provides opportunities to hear directly from professionals and individuals who are actively engaged in these issues. Additionally, participants will learn about creating supportive environments in classrooms and educational support for secondary disabilities, acquiring practical approaches. By engaging with real-life situations, participants will deeply contemplate support methods and cultivate the ability to confront social challenges. ■ Notes Application deadline is March 18 (Tuesday).
