【Autumn Colors・Peak Season】Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route

The autumn landscape changes its expression with the elevation.
The characteristics of the autumn colors in Tateyama include not only the red of the Nanakamado and Chinguruma, and the yellow of the Minekaede and Dakekanba, but also the rich hues of the dark green of the Haimatsu and the light green of the Chishimazasa. The colors typically descend from the summit to the foot of the mountain over about a month starting in mid-September. Additionally, due to the differences in vegetation at various elevations, it is possible to enjoy landscapes with varying hues of autumn colors in different areas.
