Hottuke Rice Farming Experience 2025 - Rice Harvesting -

Experience the rice harvesting at the new village Horikami Ueda "Hottuke田" that conveys the wisdom of the Edo period to the present! Why not try traditional hand-cutting and sun-drying? Applications are accepted via phone or through the dedicated application form on the new village website. Applications are limited to the first 20 groups. Children in elementary school and below must have an adult participant (paid). *Cancellations are allowed up to 4 days before the event date; after that, a cancellation fee of half the amount will be charged.

Fee

2,500 yen for junior high school students and above, 1,500 yen for elementary school students, 900 yen for preschool to kindergarten age *No refunds will be given even if you do not participate halfway through.

If the parking lot at the venue is full, there are paid parking lots nearby (500 yen per day per car).
