Ishii Town Cherry Blossom Festival

About 160 Somei Yoshino cherry trees are in full bloom, creating a magnificent cherry blossom tunnel that stretches about 200m when at peak bloom. It is a popular spot recognized as one of the top cherry blossom viewing locations in the prefecture. During the Cherry Blossom Festival held from March 26 to April 6, there will be a light-up event (from 18:00 to 21:00), allowing visitors to enjoy the fantastical atmosphere of the illuminated cherry blossoms, which attract many hanami (flower viewing) enthusiasts. On March 29, there are plans to set up food stalls in the entrance plaza of Maeyama Park. For more details, please contact the Ishii Town Chamber of Commerce.
