Miraculous Yama Sakura with an age of about 110 years

Asai's Single Cherry Blossom

Late Mar~Early Apr

The Yama Sakura is said to be about 110 years old. It was designated as a protected tree by the city in 1986. With its dignified presence and high flower density, it can be viewed illuminated shortly after sunset when the blue of the sky remains. The 'upside-down cherry blossom' reflected in the pond is also worth seeing. The lighting period is from March 29 to April 6, 2025, but may be canceled or extended/shortened depending on the blooming status and weather conditions. *Portable toilets are available
