Learning from Plants 2025 - Early Summer Plant Watching -

Deepen your knowledge about plant reproductive strategies
Although the lecturer is affiliated with the Faculty of Literature, they hold a Ph.D. in science specializing in botany, so the discussion will be science-oriented. The first day will introduce plant reproductive strategies through lectures. The next day, we will stroll through Koishikawa Botanical Garden. In connection with the NHK morning drama 'Anpan' airing in 2025, we will appreciate the Magnolia obovata. While observing its large leaves, the role of leaves will also be introduced. *Admission to Koishikawa Botanical Garden is at your own expense. (As of February 2025, adult fee is 500 yen). The application and payment period is from April 1 (Tuesday) to May 28 (Wednesday). ■Notes Public course (Spring 2025)
