A rare cherry blossom native to Hyogo Prefecture

Shofukuji Cherry Blossom is a native species of Hyogo Prefecture. It is a very rare double-flowered cherry tree that is a natural hybrid of "Kinkimamezakura" and "Yamazakura," with 50 to 100 petals and semi-drooping branches. The Shofukuji Cherry Blossom at Mikata Shrine is the largest in the prefecture and is designated as a natural monument of the city.
