A seaside civic park known as a cherry blossom spot
In the past, the area was known as "Nishikai" and was referred to as "Kinkouen" (Kinkou Park). In recent years, it has been developed as a new urban park with features including a Japanese garden, cherry blossom garden, observation hill, and a free space. The remnants of the once coastal area, the tide-checking pine, and the ruins of Seidou-ji affiliated with the historical feudal lords of Yonago are preserved, continuing to be a beloved place for citizens. In spring, approximately 500 cherry blossom trees bloom magnificently, and it attracts many visitors as a popular cherry blossom viewing spot.
