The festival of Ishizuchiyama (Ishizuchi Shrine Summer Festival) has been known for a long time as "Oyamashi", "Oyamabiraki", etc. On July 1, three sacred statues are carried by believers in the order of "Jin", "Chi", and "Yuu" to the summit shrine, marking the beginning of the ten-day grand festival. Women are allowed to enter the mountain from July 2 onwards. During this period, tens of thousands of worshippers from all over the country visit. Experience the bustling atmosphere of Ishizuchiyama, with the sounds of bells and shell trumpets echoing, and the lively sight of worshippers in white garments.
