Taguchi Fireflies
Fireflies nurtured by the community
Taguchi Sabo Park, where many fireflies flutter every year. The fireflies have been lovingly nurtured by local volunteers. The best viewing time is from mid-May to the end of May, particularly between 20:00 and 21:00 when the fireflies are most active. During peak times in the season, volunteers will manage traffic, so please follow their instructions. The viewpoint for seeing the fireflies from the parking lot is accessible on foot. As the distance is considerable, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes.
