In Handa City, the Handa float festival and spring festival are held every year from late March to May 3 and 4. A total of 31 floats are paraded in 10 districts of the city, and in 7 districts, children's mikoshi (portable shrines) parade through the town, with rituals performed by shrine maidens and mochi throwing ceremonies. The luxurious floats and the magnificent parades, along with elaborate karakuri dolls, lion dances, and the splendid art of Sanbansou. The festival scroll that has been passed down for 300 years is breathtaking. *Since the event dates differ by district, it is recommended to check in advance.
