A marathon race that crosses the dam from dam to dam
From the source! Border Tunnel! Running over the highest dam in Japan!! Now in its 4th year, a road running race connecting dams and crossing the prefectural border. A special route that is usually off-limits is opened for runners, connecting the source of the Tone River 'Ueno Dam' in Ueno Village, Gunma Prefecture, and the source of the Shinano River 'Minamiakigawa Dam' in Minamiakigawa Village, Nagano Prefecture. The course crosses the Joshu border dynamically while repeating ups and downs.
