Akazaki Festival

A Vivid Yukata Festival
A traditional event beloved as "Akazaki-san", the Akazaki Festival at Akazaki Shrine, a subsidiary shrine of Ise Jingu (Geku). Monthly rituals conducted by the Jingu Shrine Office take place at the shrine, attracting a constant stream of worshipers. Many food stalls line the route from the shrine to Nakanogo, creating a bustling atmosphere in the evening. Many people in yukata pass by, contributing to the festival's rich charm.
