Guided tour of Iware no Miyaato
Starting from the south exit of Sakurai Station, we will visit locations related to the Manyoshu, such as Wakakusa Shrine, the ancient earthen stage of Japan's oldest theater research institute, Abe Monju-in famous for Wisdom Monju, Kamino-miya ruins, Tokimi Shrine where Emperor Jinmu is said to have held the first Shinjō-sai, the fish market, and the birthplace of Yoshu Muro. The course is approximately 5.7 km long. No reservation required.
