Art Lab Gifu - Engraving Course: Carving Ancient Characters into Seals 5
Create seals that are easy to use for letters and calligraphy works!
Engraving (tenkoku) ancient Chinese characters in stone in the oldest script style, the seal script. Familiarizing ourselves with ancient characters while appreciating and analyzing various seals will provide hints for creating more free seals. Demonstrating the use of carving knives and tips for seal face composition, we will advise on the engraving process. Let's create a seal of approximately 2 cm that is easy to use for letters and calligraphy works. Reservation is required. Please make a reservation through the application form on the website.
