Sanjo City Merger 20th Anniversary Shitada Furusato Festival - Amatsu's Great Serpent Festival -

Every year, a festival enveloped in enthusiasm and excitement. Events like the 'Stone Throwing National Championship' and 'Rainbow Trout Catching' gather in full force. Numerous mock stalls run by local shops and organizations are also set up. Additionally, the parade 'Amatsu's Great Serpent Festival,' held in accordance with the great serpent legend passed down at Amuike in Yoshigahira, is a must-see. A gigantic serpent parades through the town. At the climax, a fireworks festival is also planned, ensuring a romantic moment spent amidst the colorful and grand fireworks in the night sky.
