Crosstalk: Kazakhstan's Hibakusha, Ms. Maila × Kakuwaka Hiroshima "The Current State of Anti-Nuclear Activism"

Let's discuss anti-nuclear activism
In Kazakhstan's former Semipalatinsk nuclear test site, over 450 nuclear tests were conducted by the Soviet Union. The test site was closed in 1991, but the impact on residents and the environment remains profound, and sufficient compensation has not been provided. We will welcome Ms. Maila Abenova, who is also a hibakusha and continues advocacy work including signing campaigns to the government, to discuss anti-nuclear activism in Kazakhstan and Japan. Let's create solidarity among citizens across nations together!
