Nambu Town Peony Festival

Located on the slopes of the Nakui Dake Prefectural Natural Park, certified as one of the "100 Selections of Scents in the Environment" by the Ministry of the Environment, the Nagahase Peony Garden boasts 130 varieties and 8,000 peony plants, renowned for its beauty in the Tohoku region. From early May to mid-May, when they are in full bloom, the garden is enveloped in a sweet aroma. In addition to food stalls and flower seedling shops, a photo contest will also be held. During the three days from May 16 to 18, nighttime illumination will take place, creating a fantastical atmosphere in the garden.

The festival will be held without a break during the period. From May 16 to 18, due to nighttime illumination, opening hours will be from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM.

Entrance support fee is 500 yen for adults per person, 300 yen for each person in a group of 15 or more, 300 yen for one holder of a physical disability certificate, and 3,000 yen for one welfare facility (no limit on the number of times used during the period)
