Okano Yama Festival
A festival honoring the achievements of Hida Yasuhei
The "Okano Yama Festival" was held as the pre-festival of Nishiwaki City’s representative event "Heso Nishiwaki Textile Festival". It is currently conducted as a local event in the Hiei area. After the "Hida Yasuhei Commemoration Festival," which honors the achievements of Hida Yasuhei, the founder of the local industry of "Banshu-ori," a goma fire offering is performed.
