[Cherry Blossoms in Full Bloom] Yamazaki River

[Cherry Blossoms in Full Bloom] Yamazaki River

The collaboration of cherry blossoms and the river creates a picturesque scene

Yamazaki River Promenade (Seasonal Path)

Late Mar~Early Apr

The cherry blossoms of Yamazaki River are a nationally famous cherry blossom viewing spot selected as one of the "100 Famous Cherry Blossom Spots" by the Japan Sakura Association. Along the 2.5 km banks from Ishikawa Bridge to Ochiai Bridge, there are about 600 cherry trees, and particularly around the quaint wooden Kikenko Bridge, many old trees with beautiful blossoms remain, making it one of the highlights when combined with the river surface. There are also plans for night lighting along about 120 meters from Kanae Bridge to Kikenko Bridge to coincide with the blooming period.

Yamazaki River Promenade (Seasonal Path)

About 13 minutes on foot from the subway station "Mizuho Ward Office", about 4 minutes on foot from city bus stop "City University of Pharmaceutical Sciences" or "Mizuho Health Center".
