Approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes along the shores of Takase Dam to Yumata Onsen. A further 15-minute walk to the Nationally Designated Natural Monument Yuyuyama and Spherical Limestone, which is also one of the largest sulfur grassland areas in Japan. It is said that this can currently only be seen at hot springs in Nagano Prefecture, such as Shiraboku and Nakabusa, as well as in Iwate and Akita Prefectures. The round trip from Takase Dam to the Nationally Designated Natural Monument Yuyuyama and Spherical Limestone is about 21 km, on a mostly flat trekking route suitable for participants in athletic shoes. Trekking shoes are recommended from Yumata Onsen to Yuyuyama. Suitable for those who usually walk long distances.

Meeting place: Nanakura parking lot or any accommodation facility in Omachi Onsenkyo

From Azumino IC on the Nagano Expressway, take National Route 147 and Nagano Prefectural Route 326 Yarihodaka Line to Nanakura parking lot.
