The 56th (2025) Jantokoi Uozu Festival (Candle Road)

Japanese Nightscape Heritage Certification! Uozu Candle Road
The Uozu Candle Road was certified as a Japanese Nightscape Heritage site in 2023! The goal is to guide visitors of the Uozu Festival through a shopping street adorned with candles, enhancing the festive atmosphere and familiarizing them with the surrounding environment. Handmade candles warmly welcome visitors from Esashi Park along the Kamo River. Take your time to enjoy the fantastical space created by the soft lights shimmering by the waterside. ■Notes Related to the Expo events
