Hida Togenkyou Kuguno Summer Festival

This summer festival can be said to be a summer tradition in Kuguno. The spectacular fireworks, including the giant star mines, create a powerful atmosphere, resonating through the surrounding mountains and presenting an impressive summer night. From 16:00 to 22:00, a pedestrian paradise will be held in the center of Kuguno-cho, enhancing the festival with local business stalls and various food trucks. ■ Notes Additional temporary train services on the Takayama Line. The event will be held in case of rain, but may be canceled in case of inclement weather.

Note

Fireworks will be launched from 20:00 (for about 15 minutes); there may be changes or cancellations in the event's details. The pedestrian paradise runs from 16:00 to 22:00. Due to the pedestrian paradise, vehicle passage through Kuguno-cho is not allowed. Caution is advised for large vehicles as U-turns can be difficult.
