The Amabiki Kannon, which has gathered faith for a long time, is known for its flowers such as cherry blossoms, azaleas, peonies, and hydrangeas. The hydrangeas that bloom particularly during the rainy season are popular. The Hydrangea Festival is held from mid-June to mid-July. With 100 varieties and 5,000 hydrangea plants blooming vibrantly against the fresh green backdrop, the temple grounds are filled and offer a spectacular sight. The best viewing period for hydrangeas is usually from early June to mid-July.
