15th Echizen Fish Festival
Autumn festivities on the Echizen Coast!
The bottom trawl fishing, which catches the most abundant fish of the year, will be lifted starting in September. At the "Echizen Fish Festival," fresh seafood landed at Echizen Fishing Port will be sold directly. The event is held in September when the bottom trawl fishing is lifted, making it the season with the most variety of fish caught. It is one of the largest fish events in Fukui Prefecture!
