60th Matsuyama Yakyuken Odori

Matsuyama's largest festival held every August. The highlight is the "Matsuyama Yakyuken Odori" performed by groups called "ren". Matsuyama is known for its active baseball culture and is the birthplace of "Yakyuken". Each "ren" showcases their original dance to lively music.
