Ningyo Koji Flower Festival
Invited by the May breeze, let’s see the new works of crafted dolls
Children parade down Ningyo Koji pulling a white elephant. Life-sized crafted dolls, this year's new works include "Berabou" and "Huuten no Tora-san." The JA Fureai Festival, Komichino Marche and live stage, as well as special projects for the 20th anniversary of Ningyo Koji, will feature nostalgic Showa era warrior dolls on display at Oiden Yokocho "Nakabira Chaya," a photo contest, a haiku contest, and the ever-popular stamp rally, making for a packed two days. The first day, May 10 (Sat), is called Yoi Matsuri and will be lively until 8 PM. ■Remarks Starts from Ichibankan in front of Meitetsu Mikawa Line "Yoshihama Station." Convenient access by train.
