70th Aki Noryo Citizen Festival

Aki's summer tradition
This year marks the 70th anniversary, a milestone year. On the 2nd, Yosakoi teams from inside and outside Aki City will perform a Yosakoi parade centered around the Honmachi shopping street, energizing the town against the summer heat. On the 3rd, there will be a performance of Yosakoi dancing and mochi throwing at the main competition venue (Health Interaction Center "Genki-kan"), and to conclude, colorful fireworks will bloom in the night sky over Aki coast.
