Let's Learn About Asia's Weather, Environment, and Musical Culture
"Stellar Bodies and Music" Executive Committee (Representative: Professor Keiko Arakawa, Kyoto Women's University) presents a fusion event of science and music themed around "Asia". On stage, a giant globe called "Dajic Earth" will be set up, where in the first part, a weather forecaster will introduce the characteristics of Japan's weather, accompanied by a tenor singer and shakuhachi player. The second part features a presentation by Linya Senjaku and the Rakugo Research Club of Kyoto Women's University on sound effects related to rain and thunder in rakugo. The third part will focus on Indian music, reflecting on the people who traveled along the Silk Road. ■Notes Ticket applications can be made through the website.
