Aiming for the abolition of discrimination

Femi Seminar & Cafe, General Incorporated Association

4/30(Wed) 19:00~21:00

Anti-racism is necessary to fight against colonialism. In the first half, I will discuss the crucial importance of norm formation in anti-racism (preventing harm) to avoid the pitfall of Japanese-style criticism of colonialism, which tends to focus solely on the subject (position). In the second half, I plan to talk about the anti-racism in the "Abolition of Borders Theory" (to be discussed later), which advocates for the abolition of the system by learning from the tradition of Black feminism.
