Summer Festival (Lantern Festival)

Inherited Tradition Summer Festival
There are processionals on land and at sea, with the sea procession, especially after sunset, where many lanterns decorate the boats as they set out to circle the Kanmon Strait. This festival is also known as the "Lantern Festival." The lottery event, bon dance, and the sacred grove of reeds are also highlights. A fireworks display is scheduled for the night of the second day.
